Super efficient and easy move from Philadelphia to Scranton. Mars, Jon-Jon and Carl were extremely personableand professional. Didn’t even complain about the three flights of stairs in 85° temperature. Took the extra time and effort in handling all items including Mars’ proactive recommendation to shrink wrap leather furniture so that it would not get damaged. Pricing was also very competitive and reasonable. Would highly recommend this company, and this crew in particular, to anyone. Very pleased!

We had moved today with Northeastern Movers Inc. Brooklyn, NY. Nigel and Saddiq were the nicest hard working guys we ever met. They wrapped every piece and were clean , strong and careful. Thank you so much for moving us today. Also the price was just right. Highly recommend!

This company was amazing! If I could give 6 stars I would. They helped us move in October and showed up right on time and over prepared. We had a lot of loose kids toys and they did a fantastic job boxing them up safely and moving everything in our house. They made everything easy and did it with a smile. I couldn’t recommend this company more. True Professionals!

I cannot say enough about how truly amazing this move was, not just the work they did. They were careful, thoughtful, and handled even the smallest and non fragile items with care. This was a very emotional move for me and just when I thought I was going to have to leave a very sentimental item behind because it was not in the best of shape, Martin made sure to find a way to take it with me. Thank you for everything. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

I have used Northeastern for all of my many moves and they are always top notch. I didn’t have my usual crew. This time I had Martin, Jay and Carl and they were extremely professional, personable, and took great care of my belongings. They moved me into storage and packed everything in like a perfect Tetris game, taking care to place things properly so my artwork and fragile items were fully protected. Martin, my foreman, continuously communicated with me throughout the move to make sure that everything was exactly how I wanted it done. I will always use Northeastern for my moves and tell anyone that is ever looking for a moving company to use them. Martin not only handled my side of the move with great care but he also managed his crew in an extremely professional and respectful manner. Thank you so much Northeastern!

To prospective movers -- after 13 years at my last residence I had, like most of us, accumulated far too many possessions, more clothes and objets d'art than anyone should, but there I was with a very large moving challenge. Not to mention lots of paintings and lithographs and innumerable books scattered and shelved all through the apartment, many of which needed to be not only packed but protected. The Northeastern spokesperson, Eric Lucci, was understanding and gentlemanly from the outset, also reassuring and that was helpful. But the crew, Saddique and company, were remarkable, the whole huge consignment was packed and wrapped and protected, held in place right over the 59th Street Bridge as I made my passageway from Lincoln Square to Astoria. Well not to lenghten the narrative too much more, an extremely difficult move was made about as tolerable as it could be by these folks. And as follow up they have been collecting the numberless cartons that collect in my yard. I recommend Northeastern Movers with absolutely no reservations.Gavriel Reisner

Northeastern movers were very professional. There were there right on time. Moved every item as if it was their own. There were four individual that you couldn’t fine anywhere, these guys were the BEST.Erick the owner speaks to you and really cares how’s his worker are doing. Really, this is a good moving and storage option!! I have been working with Northeastern for almost 2 years and they are terrific. Super trustworthy, conscientious, professional, responsive and their team is so nice and seem as though they actually enjoy what they do!! I recently had a move with a lot of moving parts that kept changing as we got closer and they took everything in stride and made it easy!

Really great guys. Edward provided a reasonable price. Jordan was really careful and delicate with the items. Went as far as (very efficiently) removing a sliding door in new house to move a couch into sunroom and then reattaching it. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks.

With out question the moving crew deserve a five star rating. They carefully protection wrapped each item to be moved. They were very careful in moving the larger items to/from the moving van. Overall we were very pleased with with the over all moving experence.

I cannot explain how wonderful Northeastern movers are. First, Jeff my liaison was so kind, patient, and flexible as I struggled to pin down a moving date. It is a very stressful time, and I literally cried he was so kind and validating. Nigel, John and Chris, my movers, were incredibly efficient, hard working, friendly, and professional. The price I was quoted was EXACTLY how much it ended up being, and far less than what I was quoted from other movers. How amazing is that?! Moving can be very stressful and emotional. Do yourself a favor and hire Northeastern! I can’t get over how wonderful my experience was. You have a lifelong customer. ❤️

Northeastern movers of Scranton were absolutely fantastic. This is the second time we have used them for moving in the Scranton area. Representative came and gave us a fair estimate. The date of the move, movers call to let us know they would arrive in 30 mins. Upon arrival, rep and I discussed the move. Movers covered all the furniture. At our new home movers were patient about placement of furniture. No damage to furniture. Very polite and professional.Robert & TinaGreat job 😸

I had a small move from New Rochelle to NYC that Northeastern Movers handled beautifully. Everyone with whom I interacted was professional, friendly and efficient. They handled the building COI, followed up, and assured me in every way that a smooth move and a happy customer was their goal. They met and exceeded expectations! Our move was our first in 13 years and with lots of furniture and managing witu two kids across the day as well - the movers did great. Northeastern got our move off to a great start as salesman, Mike, listened to our description of our two-part move, first to a storage center, second to our new apartment, and quickly assembled a top flight team and appropriately sized truck to accommodate our needs. On the day before the move, Jeff gave us a courtesy call to review the upcoming move when we realized we had forgotten all about the Certificates of Insurance required by the buildings we were moving from and to! No problem! Jeff and colleague Martin quickly prepared the COIs and got them back to us within a couple of hours, even though it was a Sunday! On move day, the Northeastern team, Nigel, Javon and Jordan arrived to get us moved. Each of these pros was good-natured, easy to establish a professional working relationship with, and ready to get to work, which they quickly did, taking good care to move our worldly goods with the utmost care and efficiency. And, in no time our boxes and furniture were safely in place in the storage room and apartment respectively. We died a thousand deaths in preparing over the weeks and months in the run-up to the move. Northeastern gave us a taste of heaven for the day!

The move had to happen on a Sunday at 8:00am. These gentlemen showed up, moved very heavy furniture down 3 flights of stairs and then up 2 flights at the new house. They made a stressful situation much less stressful! Professional, courteous, caring and completed a tough job under difficult circumstances without complaint. Would recommend to anyone in need of movers!

John did a very thorough inventory with us, they sent 4 guys, and the job took less time than was quoted, with nothing missing or broken. The guys were friendly, accommodating, and fast. My ONLY critique was that after they finished our job, they still had a full truck and a job they'd stopped at 2am the night before that they were going to have to resume after they left us, which seemed like a lot, but hopefully more than one job in a day isn't a common occurrence. Would definitely hire again.

I couldn't be happier that we used Northeastern Movers to relocate from New York to North Carolina! Moving out of state can be one of the most stressful experiences of your life - ask anyone who's done it. You need to use a reliable mover that can take some of that stress off of you. I'm a very careful person - I did the research. There are scores of horror stories out there about movers who did a terrible job of moving your belongings but a great job of moving their prices (always up)! Northeastern movers not only did an excellent job of packing up our things in NY, but got everything down to NC in great shape. Not only that, they did the whole operation with honesty and integrity, sticking to the original quoted price (which was considerably lower than comparable operations). John, Brian, and Ed were pleasant to work with, flexible, and down-to-earth. Highly recommended!

Not only were the movers on site courteous, professional, and hard working but ALSO the service from the office leading up to the move was excellent. Our new building had very specific COVID protocols and there were challenges getting a straight answer out of the building about scheduling the freight elevator. But Northeastern Movers were responsive, and so patient when it came to filling out yet another form for the property mgr. What could have been a very stressful move was made SO helpful by their responsive and thorough work. Thank you!!

I did not hire this company to move, but they were moving someone in my walk-up building. When they saw me entering with my toddler and stroller in tow, one of the guys offered to take my stroller up to the third floor for me.Nicest thing a stranger has done for me in years!I will definitely give this company a call for my next move based on this awesome act of courtesy.

We moved from upstate NY to Long Island, on a Sunday. It could have been an overwhelming,stressful day. Thankfully we chose to hire Northeastern Movers-NYC Mover. Setting up the date and time with Mike and Brian was so easy and organized. When the 3 gentlemen who did our move showed up they could tell I was nervous for the day. They were professional, kind, and so beyond helpful. They took EVERYTHING and even helped with a few odds and ends. It is hard to gauge how much stuff you truly have until your moving, but these men were so understanding and great about keeping the day running smoothly. When we arrived to our new place they brought everything in and helped make sure things were in the right spots. I couldn't be happier with the quality (and price.) This was my first big move, and first time hiring a moving company and I am so glad I found them. If you are looking for a great moving company they are the way to go.

I work at a storage facility in Brooklyn and got to meet a great set of guys from this company. In my line of work I come across my fair share of movers but northeastern by far has the best staff. Jeff and the rest of the guys are so friendly. They are professional, clean and just overall a joy to be around. Many movers come to our site boisterous or drunk and clearly couldn't care less about their task at hand. Most movers only behave when their client is on site. However, Jeff and the rest of the guys work hard and seem to take great care in everything they do, even when the client is not present. I swear I've seen these guys for about 5 days straight with they have the same hard working energy each day. Honestly I don't think you can ask for a better quality service nor atmosphere than what this company can provide.
